In order to evaluate the technology of capturing evaporated water, it has been compared with the two most promising alternatives. On the other hand questions are raised with respect to the energy demand and/or saving of the membrane technology. In this paper the outcome of the evaluation and the energy modeling results within SPENCE is presented.

The CapWa consortium aims at ensuring that the water capture technology is developed to meet end-user requirements world-wide. To get a clear overview of the demands from the industry, an online questionnaire has been developed.
Are you, or is your organization, interested in the water capture technology? Then please be so kind as to fill in the online questionnaire, using the link below. You will help us focus the development in the right direction. Participants will be notified on the outcome of the questionnaire, if desired.
Please note that it is also possible to fill in the questionnaire anonymously. All information provided will be treated confidentially and will not be distributed to parties outside the CapWa consortium.
Go directly to the questionnaire by clicking here.
For your convenience, an overview of the questions (PDF) is available here.
CapWa project coordinator, Mr. Ludwin Daal (KEMA, Arnhem), successfully presented membrane technology and its application for water capture at the 7th International Symposium on Coal Combustion in Harbin, China.
Congress organizers Prof. SUN Shaozeng (Harbin Institute of Technology) and Prof. QI Haiying (Tsinghua Unversity) joined Mr. Ludwin Daal (left on the picture below) for a photo shoot.
