Evaluation of different water vapor capture technologies and energy modeling results for membrane technology

In order to evaluate the technology of capturing evaporated water,  it has been compared with the two most promising alternatives. On the other hand questions are raised with respect to the energy demand and/or saving of the membrane technology. In this paper the outcome of the evaluation and the energy modeling results within SPENCE is presented.

Energy modeling results of a "water free" power plant

By capturing evaporated water, questions are raised with respect to the energy demand and/or saving of this technology inside a plant. In this paper the outcome of the energy modeling results within SPENCE is presented.

CapWa presence 7th ISCC

CapWa project coordinator, Mr. Ludwin Daal (KEMA, Arnhem), successfully presented membrane technology and its application for water capture at the 7^th International Symposium on Coal Combustion in Harbin, China.
Congress organizers Prof. SUN Shaozeng (Harbin Institute of Technology) and Prof. QI Haiying (Tsinghua Unversity) joined Mr. Ludwin Daal (left on the picture below) for a photo shoot.
